What We Do |

Servants of Shelter is a community-based nonprofit 501 (c)3 committed to upholding the dignity and respect of homeless persons by providing temporary shelter, guidance, and access to community resources. In 2016, we provided over 600 stays to area residents in need of emergency shelter. In 2017, we provided almost 1,500 stays with the addition of our new shelter. In 2018 we added two additional units in our shelter which allowed us to provide over 3,000 nights of shelter. In 2019, we provided just under 4,000 nights of shelter and began working towards purchasing 6-8 units of permanent supportive housing. In addition to providing safe, warm shelter we provide assistance with transportation, groceries, camping supplies and other support services out of our office.
