In August of 2022, we took our largest step forward yet with the purchase of the Northern Lights Motel. We began housing community members in need immediately sheltering nine households our first night. Thanks to widespread community support and many hours of work, the building now houses our Northern Lights Drop-in Center, Emergency Shelter and Supportive Housing.
Northern Lights Drop-in Center
Serves people experiencing homelessness with a communal kitchen, guest phone, laundry, shower facilities, guest computer/printer/scanner, Housing Resource Navigation, and a food/hygiene/harm reduction shelf.

Northern Lights Shelter
Offers six studio units of emergency shelter for single adults and couples in fully furnished units with private bed, bath, meal preparation area,wi-fi, off street parking and access to laundry and communal kitchen. Shelter stays are 30-90 days at no cost to guests with Case Management services.

Northern Lights Supportive Housing
Offers 12 one bedroom units (16 when building rehab complete) of fully furnished affordable, low barrier housing with onsite support services. PSH tenants are on a lease with below market rents and utilities included. To qualify PSH tenants must be homeless and living with a disability.
