we are a community-based nonprofit 501(c)3 that upholds the dignity of persons in need of temporary shelter, permanent supportive housing, supportive services, and resources.
What We Do
Apartment-Based Shelter
We provide 11 units of low barrier, apartment-based shelter with case management services. Each unit is fully furnished, has a private bath and access to cooking facilities, laundry, and Wi-Fi.
Drop-in Center
We provide a Drop-in Center with a communal kitchen, guest phone, laundry, shower facilities, guest computer/printer/scanner, Housing Resource Navigation, and a food/hygiene/harm reduction shelf. Our Drop-in Center is open 6 days a week.
Permanent Supportive Housing
We provide 15 Permanent Supportive Housing units for people who have experienced homelessness and live with a disability. Homeless Veterans, justice involved people, those fleeing Domestic Violence, and those who have experienced long term homelessness are prioritized. PSH units are fully furnished, include all utilities, rents are well below market value, and are eligible for all affordable housing supports.
Coordinated Entry & Resources
We also provide an entry point for Coordinated Entry for all emergency housing resources in our community, bus tickets, assistance obtaining identification, camping supplies, assistance applying for housing, a mailing address, grocery vouchers, free cell phones, laptops, haircuts/shaves, pet care/boarding, and most importantly hope.
Northern Lights Facility
As of July 2023, we have our Northern Lights Drop-in Center and offices operational, and are sheltering six households, and eleven PSH households on lease at this facility. Combined with our other two facilities (Bluehaven Shelter and PSH) we house 26 households every night.
